On International Human Rights Day, the German Embassy in Morocco hosted a Media Freedom Coalition Embassy Network Meeting in Rabat on 10 December 2024.

November 2nd is the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists (IDEI), which draws attention to the level of impunity for crimes against journalists. To commemorate this day, UNESCO and the African Union hosted a Day of Action on November 7th, on which the MFC hosted an event entitled “Working together to protect journalists: What’s happened, and what’s possible, through the Media Freedom Coalition”.
